Mount Rinjani 2-Day, 1-Night Hiking Expedition

The expedition continues the next day as you ascend to the summit of Mt. Rinjani before returning to Sembalun Village in East Lombok.

Two Package Options:

1. Direct Trek: Includes a 4:30 am pickup in Lombok, transferring you to Sembalun to begin the trek.
2. Stay 1 Night in Senaru: Ideal for a more leisurely pace, this option allows you to explore Senaru village and visit Sindang Gile waterfall before embarking on the trek.

Itinerary:

Day 1: Senaru Village to Sembalun Crater Rim

• Pickup at approximately 4:30 am from hotels in Bangsal Harbour, Senggigi, or Mataram.
• Arrival at Senaru/Sembalun between 8:30-9:00 am for briefing and breakfast.
• Departure from Sembalun village around 8:00 am, starting with a gentle ascent through open meadows.
• Stops at various posts for lunch and rest before reaching the Sembalun crater rim for camping, offering breathtaking sunrise and sunset views.

Day 2: Crater Rim, Summit, and Return

• Early morning ascent to the summit of Rinjani, starting at 3:00 am.
• Arrival at the summit (elevation: 3726 meters) by 6:00 am to witness a stunning sunrise and panoramic views.
• Descent to Sembalun crater rim for breakfast before returning to Sembalun village.
• Transfer to Senaru village and assistance with onward travel arrangements.

Inclusions:

• Transportation from designated Lombok locations.
• 1-night accommodation in Senaru (if selected).
• Trekking guide and porters.
• Meals, snacks, tea, and coffee during the trek.
